Project Support Grants: Building a Vibrant Community Through the Arts

Sponsored Content provided by Michael Houck - Director of Grants and Allocations, Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County

The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County is thrilled to announce our 2025-2026 Project Support Grant program! The program will accept applications through February 28, 2025, and aims to once again invest in the creative forces that make our community vibrant and dynamic.

With grants up to $15,000, we are putting our money where our heart is - with the incredible organizations and arts-focused initiatives that enhance life in Cumberland County. These are not just arts grants; they're investments in our community's future and economic development. When we support local arts programs, we create jobs, driving tourism, and make our county an even more attractive place to live and work.

From July 2025 through June 2026, these funded projects will bring life to our public spaces, energy to our local economy, and creativity to our neighborhoods. Whether it is through festivals that draw visitors to our downtown, public art that transforms our spaces, or programs that serve our military families, we are committed to making arts accessible to everyone in our community.

We are especially excited about supporting projects that highlight the rich diversity of Cumberland County. Our community is stronger when everyone has a seat at the table, and our grant program prioritizes initiatives that reach across cultural boundaries and bring people together through shared artistic experiences.

The arts are not just nice to have - they're essential to our quality of life and economic growth. When businesses consider relocating, when families choose where to live, when tourists plan their visits, a vibrant arts scene matters. That is why we are proud to support programs that make Cumberland County a cultural destination and an exciting place to call home.

Ready to be part of this exciting opportunity? Whether you are a local arts organization, an individual artist, or a community group with a creative vision, we want to hear from you. Let's work together to make Cumberland County an even more vibrant, creative, and prosperous community through the power of the arts.

Visit us at theartscouncil.com or reach out to our team to learn more about how you can be part of this exciting initiative.
