Methodist University’s campus is buzzing with school spirit as its 2022 Homecoming weekend officially kicks off today, with a variety of marquee events including a welcome reception, campus tours, the Athletics Hall of Fame induction, and homecoming bonfire.
“There’s not a more perfect time to come back on campus if you’re MU alumni,” said Director of Alumni Relations Taylor Murphy in a press release. “Not only do alumni get a chance to reminisce and connect with current and past Monarchs, but they get a glimpse into Methodist University’s future. This year’s MU Homecoming will be one to remember.”
Homecoming is even bigger on Saturday, Oct. 22 as events fill the schedule from 8 a.m. into the evening. In addition to the signature events which are the Alumni Awards ceremony, alumni tailgate, and the MU football and soccer games, there will be many more activities that you won’t want to miss.
Below is a simplified version of Saturday’s schedule of events:
On Sunday morning, Oct. 23, Methodist University’s Homecoming will conclude with a scholarship brunch hosted by Black Alumni Chapter.
