The “friendly, helpful place” now has its first Fayetteville location up and running.

Now open in the Highland Center shopping mall at 2800 Raeford Road, Suite 24A, the storefront for Lori’s Ace Home & Hardware officially opened on March 15.

“Seeing how happy customers are when they arrive and start walking the store is what gives us all energy,” said Lori Tracy Stobbe, president and co-owner in a press release.“Our staff truly enjoys helping others and has dedicated many hours to learning about the products in the store.”

The store has been offering handyman services to the community since September of 2022, but now has a full storefront in addition to handyman services.

The store measures nearly 20,000 square feet, and will feature traditional hardware tools and supplies along with a garden center. The business is also expected to employ around 15 staff members.
This is the first Ace store for owners Lori Tracy Stobbe and Nate Stobbe, who moved to Fayetteville from Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota in June 2022 specifically to open an Ace Hardware location in Fayetteville.

Lori has over 25 years of experience leading and developing marketing and communications for national, regional and local businesses, and Nate has over 30 years of experience in construction and manufacturing management.

“From the very first time we came to Fayetteville, we heard and felt the excitement from the community around getting an Ace store,” said Co-Owner Nate Stobbe, in a press release.

“Helping a customer find exactly what they need for their home in one trip – from a simple bolt to a gallon of paint to a large grill - is truly satisfying.”

A grand opening will be held on May 5-7 and include a ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. on May 5. The event will feature demos and product information from multiple brands,  giveaways, and sales on select products.
