Holmes Security Systems acquires alarm monitoring accounts from Thompson Electric

By Staff Report, posted 1 month ago

Holmes Security Systems, one of the largest independent security companies in North and South Carolina, announces the acquisition of the accounts of Thompson Electric of Lumberton Inc.

This transition ensures continued, uninterrupted monitoring and service for Thompson Electric customers as the company enters retirement.

Founded in 1908 in Fayetteville, Holmes Security Systems remains family-owned and operated. With full-service offices in Fayetteville and Wilmington, Holmes is the only company in eastern North Carolina with a UL-listed, Five Diamond-certified central monitoring station, providing rapid emergency dispatch and life-safety monitoring throughout the region.

“When Thompson Electric began considering the future of its monitoring accounts, it was important that its customers remain in trusted hands,” said President of Holmes Security Systems Stephen Wheeler in a press release. “We are honored they chose Holmes. Our shared values of integrity, service, and long-term relationships made this a natural fit.”

Holmes Security Systems continues to expand its presence throughout eastern North Carolina through strategic growth while maintaining its commitment to personalized, local service.

Customers transitioning from Thompson Electric will experience no interruption in monitoring and will continue receiving dependable service backed by more than a century of security expertise.
