Fay.Church launches free church directory for Fayetteville, NC and surrounding communities

By Staff Report, posted 3 weeks ago

A new online resource is making it easier for Fayetteville residents to find a church home. Fay.Church, launched in march 2026 by Bosworth Media Group LLC, is a free directory of 414 churches in Fayetteville — the most complete listing of local congregations available in a single location.

The site, available at fay.church, allows visitors to search for churches by name, denomination, pastor or neighborhood. A built-in “Near Me” feature uses the visitor’s location to sort results by distance, while a “Top Rated” view surfaces churches with the highest community ratings. A total of 17 denominations are represented in the directory, from Baptist and Methodist to Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Catholic, and independent congregations.

“Fayetteville is one of the most church-rich cities in North Carolina,” said Charles Bosworth, Founder of Fay.Church in a press release. “But finding the right church — especially if you’re new to the area, a military family just arriving at Fort Bragg, or someone simply looking for a fresh start — has always meant piecing together information from a dozen different sources. We wanted to fix that.”

Every church in the directory is listed for free. Each profile includes the church’s address, phone number and denomination at no cost to the congregation. Churches that wish to display their pastor’s name and service times can claim their listing at no charge by submitting a brief verification request at fay.church/claim.

Bosworth Media Group reviews each claim and typically activates verified listings within one to two

business days.

Visitors can rate churches across six community categories — Welcoming, Preaching, Community, Worship, Family-Friendly, and Biblically Principled — without creating an account. An events section allows churches to promote upcoming services, outreach programs, and community gatherings. A “Suggest a Church” form allows community members to submit congregations that may have been missed.

For churches seeking greater visibility, optional paid listing upgrades are available beginning at $365 per year. Enhanced listings include a direct link to the church’s website, priority placement in search results and an expanded church profile. Higher tiers add a contact form, prayer request submission and live stream integration for congregations that broadcast their services online. Bosworth emphasized that the paid tiers are designed to serve churches that want a stronger digital presence, not to restrict access to basic information.

“The directory is genuinely useful at the free level,” Bosworth said in a press release. “We want every church in Fayetteville to have a home here, whether they ever pay us a dime or not. The paid options are there for churches that want to go further.”

Carroll Memorial Baptist Church is the directory’s inaugural featured listing. Located on Camden Road in Fayetteville, Carroll Memorial is led by Pastor James Baker. Bosworth said the directory will expand beyond Fayetteville to include Hope Mills, Spring Lake and other Cumberland County communities. Churches in those areas are encouraged to submit their congregations through the “Suggest a Church” form at

fay.church.

Fay.Church is a service of Bosworth Media Group LLC, a Fayetteville-based media company.
