Cumberland County property tax bills mailed Aug. 15; multiple payment options now available

Cumberland County Tax Administration mailed 2025 property tax bills on Aug. 15, 2025. The payment deadline is Jan. 5, 2026. Beginning Jan. 6, 2026, unpaid balances will incur 2% interest for the first month, then 0.75% each month thereafter.

Multiple Payment Options for Your Convenience

  • MyCCNCPay (Website & Mobile App): Use the secure MyCCNCPay platform to pay online. The platform allows property owners to pay via electronic check, debit, or credit card; register to schedule payments; set reminders; track payment history; and even pay in installments or prepay taxes. Download the MyCCNCPay app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for even easier, on-the-go access.
  • By Phone: Taxpayers can call 910‑557‑7935 to pay by debit or credit card. Fees apply.
  • By Mail: Taxpayers can mail a check or money order (no cash):
    • Using the remittance coupon to Cumberland County Tax Collector, P.O. Box 538313, Atlanta, GA 30353‑8313
    • Or without the coupon to Cumberland County Tax Collector P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302‑0449.
  • Online Bank Bill Pay: Taxpayers may use their bank bill-pay, ensuring the bank has the current tax bill number.
  • Secure Drop Box: This option accepts checks or money orders only. Payment may be placed in the secure drop box located behind the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Courthouse (at the intersection of Cool Spring & Russell streets).
  • In Person: Taxpayers can visit the Tax Administration Office on the 5th floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, located at 117 Dick Street, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The office accepts cash, check, money order, and cards (fees apply).
  • Payment Plan: Included in the property tax bill is a form to request monthly payments. Taxpayers may submit that form, along with a first payment, to Cumberland County Tax Collector, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
