Wingyro’s Mediterranean and American Grill

New life has been brought to the former home of Niko’s Fresh Eats through the newly opened Wingyro’s Mediterranean and American Grill located at 3612 on Ramsey St. 

Wingyro’s offers Mediterranean favorites such as lamb chops, chicken and beef kabobs, kofta and American options such as french fries, burgers and subs. 

Social media activity started in mid October and reviews are already in from happy customers in the community.

Front Street Coffee 

Located in downtown Lillington at 31 West Front Street, Front Street Coffee offers a new gathering spot with their bright, open interior, outdoor bar and cafe menu featuring assorted coffee drinks, baked goods and seasonal favorites. 

After opening in late fall of 2023, FSC has already made a name for itself in the Lillington community by hosting community gatherings including for the Lillington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Harnett County Sheriff's Office. 

Now, they are opening their doors and inviting the public. 

Front Street Coffee will be holding their official Grand Opening event on Friday, Nov, 3 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, drink flight boards, local vendors, the official naming of the company’s mascot and a discount to entice customers.

Melecio’s Fiesta Bar

The City of Lumberton has a new Mexican restaurant option with the opening of Melecio’s Fiesta Bar in Lumberton. The Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated with a ribbon cutting on Oct. 12 to announce the opening. Located at 4329 Fayetteville Rd, in Lumberton. This new location is one of five within Robeson County, with others available to visit in Shannon, Fairmont, Pembroke and Melios Express also available in Lumberton. 

The restaurant advertises “Authentic Mexican food” for guests with traditional menu items such as sopes, tacos and churros but also ads their own menu treats like the Birria Burger. 

Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 2 p.m. – 11 p.m., Friday & Sat 12 p.m.- 11 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. -9 p.m.
