The North Carolina Technology Association has released the data detailing available IT positions in the state for the month of October.

According to data recently published by NC TECH, the Fayetteville MSA saw a 74 percent increase in IT job postings when comparing October 2021 to October 2022. Fayetteville saw the highest increase in IT job postings with Jacksonville coming in at a close second with a 73 percent increase. This is the second month in a row for Fayetteville to show the highest increase.

“October 2022 IT job postings are up again. In fact, the monthly total is the highest for the year,” said Director of Talent and Workforce Development at NC TECH Andrea Fleming in a press release. “Headlines continue to mention layoffs and hiring freezes, but tech positions in North Carolina remain on an upward trajectory.
