Elizabethtown -White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes new board member

Jeane’ Pope has joined the Elizabethtown -White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce as the newest board member.  

She is coming to the board with years of service to the public. She was a principal in Harnett County and retired with 30 years of service as an educator in 2021. She chaired the White Lake Water Festival last year.  

Pope works at Cape Fear Valley Hospital Foundation. There she oversees the Foundation Board of Directors for the Bladen Hospital Foundation and Clinics in Bladen County as well as Hoke Hospital and the Clinic in Whiteville.  Her job is to raise money for Bladen County hospitals and clinics to help grow the accessibility for residents in Bladen County and keep services local.    

Pope sits on the White Lake Water Festival and Events Board Inc. as the treasurer and Coordinator. Pope also helped with the PINK OUT for Bladen County.
