Harnett County is ready to welcome the public to celebrate the Harnett Regional Jetport (HRJ) Terminal.

Originally scheduled as a ribbon cutting and jamboree to celebrate the grand opening of the Harnett Regional Jetport Terminal, the event originally planned for earlier this year on May 18 had to be canceled and rescheduled due to inclement weather.

HRJ celebrated their grand opening in a smaller ceremony in mid July of 2024 (read about that here)

Now, the Jamboree event will be taking place on Nov.16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at 615 Airport Road in Erwin, NC.

Whether you're a seasoned pilot or simply love aircraft, this event is for you. The event will offer static aircraft displays, informational vendors, food trucks, and more. Bring your friends, family, and fellow aviators for a day of fun, flying, and community! Whether you’re arriving by air or by car, everyone is welcome. Let’s celebrate aviation together at HRJ!

Participating food truck vendors include:

  • Little Halos
  • Carolina Braised
  • Sunset Slush
  • Island Café
  • Burney’s Sweets & Treats of Erwin
