Sponsor of the 2026 End of Summer Block Party, making it possible for families to enjoy the annual celebration with free admission on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Through Brightspeed's generous investment, more children and families will have the opportunity to experience a day filled with hands-on learning, creativity and community without the barrier of admission costs.
Their partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to enriching educational experiences and strengthening the Fayetteville community.
“At Brightspeed, we believe that true connectivity goes beyond the network; it’s about empowering the people and places we serve,” said Sabrina Anderson, local marketing manager at Brightspeed in a press release. “By supporting spaces like Fascinate-U Children's Museum, we’re helping to create stronger, more connected communities where curiosity, innovation and opportunity can thrive.”
This year's event, "Capes, Crowns & Chaos: Where Heroes Train, Royals Shine, and Everyone Plays," will transform Fascinate-U into a world of adventure where children can become heroes, royalty, inventors, and explorers for the day. Families can enjoy hero training challenges, royal-themed activities, creative crafts, games, balloon art, face painting, fairy hair, food trucks, a treasure dig, castle building, a foam party, a gaming truck, and many other hands-on experiences designed to inspire imagination and learning.
"At Fascinate-U, we believe every child deserves opportunities to learn, imagine and play," said Amanda Jekel, executive director of Fascinate-U Children's Museum in a press release. "We are incredibly grateful to Brightspeed for investing in our community and helping remove financial barriers so more families can experience a day of discovery together. Their partnership allows us to welcome every family who wants to celebrate the end of summer with us."
The End of Summer Block Party has become one of Fascinate-U's signature annual events, bringing together hundreds of families each year to celebrate creativity, exploration, and community before the start of a new school year. By providing free admission, Brightspeed is helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of hands-on play and discovery, regardless of financial circumstances.
Families are encouraged to mark their calendars and join Fascinate-U on Saturday, Aug. 8, for an afternoon of imagination, hands-on fun and community celebration. For more information about the End of Summer Block Party, visit www.fascinate-u.com.
