Indoor arena football is returning to Fayetteville and the newest team is looking for sponsors before the start of their first season.
Fayetteville Mustangs owner Robert Twaddell is searching for capital investors to join him in bringing football to Fayetteville on a professional scale.
The Fayetteville Mustangs are a professional arena football team based in Fayetteville, NC. The team was founded on July 14, 2022 as an expansion team of the National Arena Football League. This new Mustangs team aims to be a driver of community pride, economic development and job opportunities.
The Mustangs have been diligently preparing to bring the local community and fan base a style of tough and disciplined football that will light up the scoreboard with a creative and fast offensive approach to the game led by Head Coach Charles Gunnings.
Twaddell adds, “We’re excited to bring what we believe is the best brand of football and entertainment to Fayetteville and its fan base.”
For 2023, the Mustangs advise they are currently planning extensive charity and community related initiatives and partnerships to share the good will of both the Mustangs and their fans.
The Mustangs will play their home games (April through July) at the Crown Coliseum.
The Fayetteville Mustangs are looking to partner with both individuals and small businesses. Twaddell shared that they are looking for a group of 5-10 individual owners. The Fayetteville Mustangs offer partnership packages from $1000 - $10,000. A basic $1,000 partnership package would include season tickets and promotion in our game day program, jumbotron, and website.
A larger investment / owner would be $25,000 - $50,000.
