Daniel and Jamie Terracciano are the owners behind the brand-new Jersey Mike’s Subs coming soon to Dirtbag Plaza in Hope Mills. This is the couple’s fifth Jersey Mike’s location in Cumberland County and their 12th store in North Carolina.

The decision to open at Dirt Bag Plaza was driven by the area’s rapid growth and its status as a community hub.

“The business that Jerry [Hall] and his team over there at Dirtbags have built…it’s truly a gathering area, and it's something that when we look at opportunities for our business, our goal is to be in places that can serve the greatest good and serve the greatest number of people… I think it'll be a great point for all of the residential growth, as well as people that are at Dirtbag Ales can walk over and get something to eat while they’re there. And then, of course, you have the 95 interchange, the people coming in and off the highway there, so it's a great location,” shared Daniel.

Daniel shared that conversations around opening in this new spot began about 18 months ago, and the journey from that point to now where they’re beginning to train staff and preparing to announce an opening date is a time where they get to see the fruits of their labor.

“Of the 12 stores that we have now we've built 11 of them…I think each time we get a little bit better. So it's an experience unto itself. But this is the fun in the development. And this one in particular, I mean, this will be a unique kind of environment,” shared Daniel.

Jersey Mike’s Subs at Dirtbag Plaza is about 1800 square feet in size and will serve customers their signature fresh, made-to-order subs. The team is hoping to have the store opened by the end of September. A grand opening date will be announced in the coming weeks.

As a part of every opening, Jersey Mike’s selects a local partner to fundraise for and for this store they’ll be raising money for Gray’s Creek High School during their opening week.

They’re still looking to hire some additional staff for the new location. Interested individuals can apply at https://jobs.pagegrace.com/
