On Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m., T.A. Loving and Metcon will host a Pre-Bid Meeting for the remaining Crown Event Center project. The meeting will pertain to all bid packages except sitework, aggregate piers, concrete and steel. To reach a wider audience of interested subcontractors, the meeting will be held virtually and may be accessed through Zoom utilizing the virtual link information below.

The Crown Event Center will consist of approximately 134,000 square feet and feature a three-story main event hall with a capacity of approximately 3,000. The Center will be located in Downtown Fayetteville at the intersection of Gillespie Street and Ottis F. Jones Parkway on the block between the County’s Historic Courthouse and the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse.
The $145 million project budget is fully supported within the County’s Crown funding model. No General Fund revenue from County property or sales taxes is being used to fund this project. The project kicked off in April 2022 with site selection and design, and the Crown Event Center is expected to open in Spring 2027.
